Shipping & Refills

Refill timing, tracking, cold-pack shipments, and what to do if your package is delayed, warm, damaged, or missing. This guide is designed to keep your treatment on schedule with as little stress as possible.

Refill timing:

The simplest way to avoid missed doses is to plan refills before you feel “low.”

FMC refills are intended to arrive with enough time for you to stay on schedule. The exact timing can vary based on your plan, dosage, clinical follow-ups, weekends/holidays, and carrier transit times.

Best practice

When you start your last week of medication, confirm you have enough supply to comfortably reach your next delivery.

If you’re traveling

Let FMC know in advance so we can help plan shipping timing or a temporary address when possible.

What if I’m due for a dose but my refill hasn’t arrived?

Do not double-dose. If you anticipate a gap, contact FMC as soon as possible so we can guide you on next steps.

Tracking your shipment:

Tracking is the fastest way to prevent missed deliveries and temperature issues.

When your shipment goes out, you’ll typically receive tracking. Once you have it, check the estimated delivery and plan for someone to bring the package inside promptly.

Delivery day tips

  • Bring the package inside as soon as possible
  • Avoid leaving it in direct sun/heat
  • If you won’t be home, consider a trusted person or a safe delivery arrangement

What to confirm on arrival

  • Medication name matches your prescription
  • Correct strength and labeling
  • Vials/pens intact (not cracked or leaking)

Cold-pack shipments and temperature:

Cold packs can thaw during transit. The key question is whether the medication remains safe to use.

Many shipments include cold packs and insulated packaging. It is common for cold packs to arrive partially thawed. Do not assume a partially thawed pack means the medication is unusable.

What to do immediately

Bring the package inside, open it, and place your medication into the refrigerator right away unless instructed otherwise.

When to contact FMC

If the package arrives noticeably warm, delayed multiple days, or the contents seem compromised, contact FMC before using.

Should I inject medication that arrived warm?

If you believe the shipment arrived warm or was exposed to heat, contact FMC for guidance before using it.

If your package is delayed:

Most issues are solvable quickly when identified early.

Carriers sometimes delay shipments due to weather, peak seasons, routing issues, or address verification. If tracking stops updating or delivery is missed, here’s what to do.

Step 1

Check tracking details and the most recent scan location.

Step 2

Confirm the delivery address and that the carrier has access.

Step 3

Contact FMC with your tracking number and issue summary.

What info should I send FMC?

Please include your full name, tracking number, delivery address, and what the tracking status says (screenshot if possible).

If the package is damaged, missing, or incorrect:

Do not use medication that appears compromised. Contact FMC first.

Damaged package

  • Take photos of the outer box and inner contents
  • Do not discard packaging until FMC advises
  • Contact FMC with photos and details

Missing package

  • Check tracking “delivered” details and location
  • Look for carrier photo proof of delivery
  • Check with household/building staff
  • Contact FMC if you cannot locate it
What if I received the wrong item?

Contact FMC immediately with photos of the label and contents. Please do not use medication that does not match your prescription.

Address changes and travel:

Most shipping problems happen because of address or availability changes.

If your address changes, you plan to travel, or you know you won’t be available on delivery days, contact FMC ahead of time. Planning early helps prevent delays and missed shipments.

Before you travel

Confirm your injection date and make sure you’ll have enough medication for the full trip plus a buffer.

Temporary address

If you need a temporary shipping location, reach out early so FMC can advise on the best option based on timing.

Common questions:

Quick answers to reduce worry and keep you on track.

Do I need to be home when it arrives?

It is best if someone can bring it inside promptly. Planning ahead reduces the risk of temperature exposure or missed delivery.

The cold pack is thawed—what should I do?

Put the medication in the refrigerator right away. If the contents feel warm or the shipment was significantly delayed, contact FMC before using.

How do I avoid running out?

Track your supply weekly and contact FMC early if you see a timing issue. Staying proactive prevents gaps.

When to contact FMC:

  • Tracking shows a delay that could affect your dosing schedule
  • Your package arrived warm or compromised
  • Your package is missing or damaged
  • You need to change your delivery address or timing

Sending your tracking number and photos (if applicable) helps us resolve issues faster.

What to include in your message:

  • Your full name
  • Tracking number
  • Delivery address (city/state is fine)
  • What happened (delay, warm, damaged, missing)
  • Photos of the box/label/contents if relevant

Clear details = quicker solutions.
