Your FMC Journey

Program Overview

How the FMC Weight Loss program works—from your first visit through long-term maintenance. This guide explains what to expect at each step, what we track, how dose adjustments work, and how we support you when life happens.

How the program works:

FMC combines clinician-guided GLP-1 therapy, progress tracking, and long-term support.

FMC is designed to make medical weight loss simple and structured. We evaluate your medical history, confirm that treatment is appropriate, prescribe medication when clinically indicated, and adjust your plan over time based on results, tolerability, and your goals.

Clinician-led care

Your treatment plan is guided by a licensed clinician and tailored to your health history and needs.

Medication + strategy

GLP-1 medication supports appetite control and metabolic change, while habits support long-term success.

Measured progress

We track outcomes so your plan can be refined based on real data, not guesswork.

Maintenance planning

We help you transition from active weight loss to long-term stability, with a plan you can maintain.

Step-by-step - what to expect:

A clear timeline from your first visit through ongoing follow-ups.

1

Get started

You begin with onboarding and a medical intake so we understand your goals, health history, current medications, and prior weight-loss experience.

2

Clinician review

A clinician reviews your intake and determines whether treatment is appropriate. If indicated, a GLP-1 prescription is issued with a personalized dosing plan.

3

Medication delivery

Your medication ships directly to you with the supplies you need. You’ll have guidance on storage, injection technique, and how to stay consistent.

4

Active weight loss phase

You take your injection once weekly. Doses are increased gradually when appropriate to support results while keeping side effects manageable.

5

Check-ins & adjustments

We monitor progress and tolerability. If you hit a plateau, experience side effects, or need a different pace, your clinician can adjust dose, timing, and supportive strategies.

6

Maintenance planning

When you approach your goal, we help shift focus to long-term stability—supporting sustainable routines, and clinician-directed maintenance strategies that fit your life.

How long does the program take?

Timelines vary based on starting point, goals, and individual response. Many patients see meaningful progress within the first few months, while long-term results often come from consistent treatment and maintenance planning.

What we track (and why it matters):

Tracking helps us personalize care and keep progress steady and safe.

Weight trend

We focus on the trend over time, not single weigh-ins, since the scale naturally fluctuates.

Side effects

We track how you feel so we can adjust dose timing or pace and improve comfort.

Appetite & cravings

Reduced hunger is a key signal of medication response, but we want it to remain healthy and sustainable.

Energy & sleep

Better energy often follows improved nutrition and blood sugar stability, and poor sleep can slow progress.

Consistency

Weekly dosing consistency matters. We help you create a simple routine you can keep long term.

Plateaus

Plateaus are normal. We evaluate patterns and decide whether to adjust dosing, nutrition, or expectations.

How dose adjustments work:

Increases are gradual to balance results and tolerability.

Your dose is not “one size fits all.” FMC uses a gradual approach and adjusts based on your response. If you’re doing well, your clinician may increase your dose on schedule. If side effects are uncomfortable, we may keep you at the same dose longer, slow the titration, or make targeted changes to improve comfort.

Reasons to increase

  • Appetite control fades too quickly
  • Progress slows after a stable routine
  • Side effects are minimal and stable

Reasons to slow down

  • Nausea, reflux, constipation, or diarrhea
  • Difficulty eating enough protein or fluids
  • Symptoms that persist most of the week
What if I feel “stuck” at the same weight?

Plateaus are a normal part of weight loss. FMC reviews patterns such as dosing consistency, hydration, protein intake, sleep, stress, and medication response. Sometimes the best move is patience; other times, your clinician may adjust dose pacing or supportive strategies.

Long-term maintenance:

Maintenance is where results become a lifestyle—stable, realistic, and sustainable.

Reaching your goal is a milestone, but the real win is keeping results long term. FMC helps you transition from active weight loss into a maintenance plan that supports your metabolism and your lifestyle.

Keep your routine simple

Maintenance works best when your habits are repeatable—not perfect. The goal is consistency you can live with.

Support your body composition

Protein, hydration, and movement help protect lean mass, energy, and long-term metabolic health.

Plan for real life

Travel, holidays, stress, and schedule changes happen. We help you build a plan that can bend without breaking.

Clinician guidance

Maintenance strategies are clinician-directed and personalized based on your response and goals.
